The Sachse Public Library has partnered with the Perot TECH Truck, a mobile hands-on STEM learning lab, to bring interactive science and technology activities to families of all ages.
The event is free and structured as a come-and-go format, meaning there is no set arrival time and no registration required. It also serves as a final opportunity to pick up Summer Reading prizes, so families who have been putting off that errand can combine both tasks in one trip.
The first 200 attendees will receive a complimentary drink from Simply Sippin’, a vintage beverage trailer that will be on-site. Given that it is a free outdoor event on a Thursday evening in late July in North Texas, arriving closer to opening time is a reasonable strategy for securing one of those 200 drinks.
